KUCHING: Henry Loh’s widow said she did not blame any party but wanted to know the cause of the helicopter crash that caused her husband’s death.
She told the press at her residence here yesterday that she had been keeping a low profile after the tragedy.
She said Loh’s remains were at the hospital for postmortem at 2pm and the funeral would be held today.
When asked further, she said let the police investigate the incident.
“I hope the police can find the cause of the tragedy,” she said, adding that she would live on and bring the children up with the support of relatives and friends.
She prayed that Loh would rest in peace.
Loh’s body, one of three passengers onboard the helicopter that crashed in Sebuyau last Friday, was recovered about 7.40am on Sunday.
The bodies of two other passengers, Siti Khuzaimah Anuar, 27, and Peter Ato Mayau, 53, were found by fishermen at separate places and different times on Saturday.
The private helicopter was ferrying three passengers to Nanga Merit Kapit Division when it crashed into Sungai Teriso estuary near Sebuyau at about 9.30am on Friday.
Lone survivor of the crash, German pilot Rico Steger, 35, managed to extricate himself from the wreckage and swam for four hours to reach Kampung Tebelu, Sebuyau.
