JPKE Sets Maximum Prices On Food Items For Festive Season

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN:The Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE) has listed down the price list of 13 food items whose maximum or ceiling prices have been set in preparation for the upcoming Had Raya Aidilfitri festival, Borneo Bulletin reported.
The 13 selected food items are whole chicken (fresh and frozen), eggs, meat, butter, margarine, Ghee, condensed and evaporated milk, flour, cashew nuts, chocolate hazelnut spread, chilli shrimp floss and popia’ skin.
The setting of maximum prices on these selected items is effective from 1st day of Ramadhan to 7th of Syawal 1433 Hijrah.
