Parents report rape after girl confided in teacher

KUCHING: The parents of a 13-year-old girl yesterday lodged a police report that she had been raped.
The father from Kenyalang Park said he received a call from his daughter’s teacher in the afternoon saying she had confided that she was raped by a mobile phone shop worker.
The teen’s parents fetched her from school and brought her to lodge a report at the police One-Stop Centre at Simpang Tiga.
Police are investigating the claim and will send the girl to Sarawak General Hospital for a medical checkup.
