Squatters want fair distribution of 1Malaysia water tanks

MIRI: Squatters at Kampung Muhibbah in Kuala Baram claimed that the distribution of 1Malaysia water tanks by Dato Sebastian Ting to their representative did not reach the target group.
One of the squatters who declined to be named said that the tanks were only distributed to the representative’s relatives and some DAP supporters.
The presentation of the 1Malaysia water tanks was witnessed by the headmen of Kampung Muhibbah, Nordin Yusof.
The villager added that he was not happy with the conduct of their representative because he do did not distribute the tanks fairly.
He said the villagers/squatters only wanted the tanks to be distributed based on need and priority and wanted Ting to follow up with the issue.
