SIBU: A man who sub-let a place to a woman was said to have been threatened by his tenant accompanied by four others recently.
The 26-year-old landlord had earlier asked the woman tenant to pay up the rent and utility bills.
He approached her last Sunday, and was believed to have told her to move out if she could not pay.
He said the tenant moved in five months ago.
He said the woman tenant with four men later attempted to barge into his locked room around 4am.
He then called the police who arrived and caught two men while the tenant, her 28-year-old male companion surnamed Siong, and another man escaped.
Siong was said to have a samurai sword in his hand when the police came. He allegedly threw it away and ran off upon seeing the police.
