if pressure is higher in the cabin during flight and the door is designed to open to the outside, that would mean it will be blown off and away if opened in mid-air

I think he has big fights with his GF in airplane and decided not to go to KL with her anymore and she criticize him until he in a angry level that he doesn’t know what he is going to do . When people were in angry mode, they will do something crazy like what his guy did. If this is true, I think he must be very regret of doing such crazy things right now in hospital. (as this happen to me once- I did crazy thing too but not like him but other things, sorry cannot share)

Can the aircrew on board explain why no one saw him open the door or prevented him from opening, what if he carry a bomb on board ? Things can happen unexpectedly to anyone due to unsafe precaution. Safety lock should have apply on passenger seating beside the emergency exit. This is a safety reason for the aircraft during take off. You should have thanks to Chong for mercy and for not opening the exit door during mid air cruising. Lessons to learn rather than blaming on him. Everybody on board the airline thank god without serious mishap.

Fortunately the flight hadn’t taken off yet. Had it happened in the air, the consequence would be unbelievably miserable for the 200 (more or less) passengers on board. Chong had brought shame to the Malaysians of Chinese background. Whatever transpired for this silly act, he should be charged.

Imagine if he did it while plane already flying up in the air, so the question is, can the emergency door be opened while flying. If so, it’s so scary..and we all exposed to danger if any idiots flying with us. We can’t assume people will not do it (open the emergency door).

Pilot had shut down engine already after cabin crew notified of his unruly action that threatened the safety of others and the plane. Had the engine not shut down can you imagine what could happen to the emergency slide and the culprit?….sucked up by the engine lah…..
