BTW, I believe some motorists have involved in road accident due
to stray dogs accidently crossing the road. Can anybody out there who had that
kind of accident to comment?

Look around Kuching, there are many stray dogs. What is SSPCA solution
to the stray dogs? Who should control the stray dogs?

It is sad to note that the mother dog and her puppies were homeless. Had they been owned by someone and stayed in a home this incident would not have happened. Kumbang may be cruel, but those who have caused these dogs to be stray, are just as bad. Abandonment of pets by their owners should also be treated as a civil offense punishable under the law.

It’s their duty and they are paid to do so when there’s a report made.. I’m more inclined to thank those who were brave enough to lodge the report and testify against Kumbang. We can’t interfere with the judgement of the magistrate. But one month jai term for Kumbang was really to light. SSPCA should take the initiatives to lodge an appeal against the sentence.
