MIRI: Badminton enthusiasts here are invited to participate in the Tan Sri William Mawan Badminton Open Championship (Dayak Badminton Open 2012) scheduled from Aug 31 until Sept 2.
The tournament is jointly organised by Kelab Sukan and Rekreasi Dayak Miri (KESUDAM) and Miri Dayak BN Youth.
“The number of participants is encouraging. However, we expect more players will register in days to come as registration is still open,” said tournament chairman Caleb Jepit.
Those interested to participate can obtain the registration forms from Lutong Badminton Club, Champion, AMPM, Krokop 10, Youth Centre, Miri Indoor Stadium, BOMBA, Miri Port Club, Keleb Shell Lutong and Kuala Baram Court.
Registration dateline for the tournament is on Aug 28 and the draw session has been set on the next day.
