KOTA KINABALU: SK Convent (1) Bukit Nanas (M) from Kuala Lumpur and SM La Salle from Sabah won the grand prize winners of Disney Channel’s “My School Rocks” 2012!.
Both winners won a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, a champion’s trophy and certificate.
The two schools danced their way to the top against 233 teams from all over Malaysia.
The “My School Rocks!” 2012 is held for the fifth consecutive year. It is the largest interschool dance competition in the country.
Both winning teams displayed true skill and creativity in their choreography as well as dance concept, props and costumes, showmanship and teamwork which were key elements in the judging process and accounted for 50 per cent of their points; the remaining 50 per cent were awarded based on public voting.
