KOTA KINABALU: The proposed anti-hopping law is unnecessary if one has high integrity and a strong stand, said Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun.
She said integrity was an important aspect for a politician not to be easily swayed by better promises elsewhere.
Another equally important facet of a politician is identifying the cause they are fighting for and their stance, she said.
“If these values are intact, then there is no need for the anti-hopping law to be put in place,” she said.
