BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A delegation from the Information Department, Prime Minister’s Office recently made a working visit to the residence of Kg Lambak Kiri Landless Indigenous Citizens Housing Scheme (STKRJ) Village Head Awg Haji Hamdani bin Omar, Borneo Bulletin reported.
The delegation comprising senior officials and personnel was led by its Acting Director, Dyg Hajah Noorashidah binti Haji Ali Omar.
Also present at the event were committee members of the STKRJ Kg Lambak Kiri Village Consultative Council (MPK), STKRJ Kg Lambak Kiri Women’s Bureau members and village residents.
The working visit was aimed at fostering better relations between the Information Department, Mukim and village consultative councils, enhancing the department’s image and explaining the roles and responsibilities of the department.
The gathering began with the recitation of Surah al-Fatihah led by Pg Haji Jamaluddin bin Pg Haji Burut. This was followed by remarks from Awg Haji Hamdani and Dyg Hajah Noorashidah.
The event also coincided with a Hari Raya gathering. The acting director also presented certificates of appreciation to STKRJ Kg Lambak Kiri Women’s Bureau members.
