KUCHING: No charge was drawn against a 27-year-old man released by the Magistrates’ Court here yesterday.
He had been remanded for four days for investigation into a credit card fraud after his arrest last Thursday.
Linked to this case was a local woman arrested after she was found with 29 credit cards issued by local and foreign banks.
The case came to light in a press conference held by police on Aug 29.
The 37-year-old woman was also released though it was unclear if she was released on bail or with any condition.
The case had been classified as cheating which comes under Section 420 of the Penal Code.
