BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Cayenne Diesel has touched clown in Brunei, and is available at the Porsche Centre Brunei at QAF Centre. It is equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 powered engine, a stunning design for every car aficionado and functional capabilities that elevate the comfort of driving to new heights, Borneo Bulletin reported.

The Cayenne Diesel, which produces 195g/km, remains below the emission limit of 200 grammes of CO2 per kilometre. The model also complies with the new EU5 emission limit.

The conservative usage of fuel consumption highlights Porsche’s fuel efficiency approach. Fuel consumption has been reduced from an already low 9.3 hr (equal to 30.4 mpg imp) to 7.4 ltr per 100km (equal to 38.2 mpg imp), with its power remained unchanged at 240 hp (176 kW) and torque reaching an impressive 550 Nm/ 405 lb-ft.

Fuel is being injected into the combustion chambers by piezo-valves, building up pressure of up to 1,800 bar. The charge effect is provided by turbochargers with variable turbine geometry (VTG turbochargers), fully controlled exhaust gas recirculation, an oxidation catalyst, as well as particulates filter to ensure highly effective emission management.

The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) serves to minimise emissions and allow the engine to meet the EU5 emission standard.

Meanwhile, the Cayenne S Diesel, which is expected to be launched some time early next year, delivers with precision and injects pace with 0-100km in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 252km/h.
