BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN:The Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam recently reinforced its commitment to “Responsible Business” by organising social and environmental activities throughout the month of September, Borneo Bulletin reported.

As part ofthe Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, September has been established as a time when all Carlson Rezidor hotels, including the Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam, come together to celebrate “Responsible Business Action Month”.

Peter Feran, the General Manager, emphasised that it was a great opportunity for the hotel to communicate their Responsible Business efforts to their guests, boost employee morale, build a positive reputation in the community and feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that the hotel has contributed in some ways.

Some of the activities that have been organised were the “Go Green All Day” on September 6 where members of the staff were encouraged to car pool, cycle or walk to work.

The hotel hosted a “Hari Raya Get-Together with Special Children from Pusat Ehsan” on September 14.

The management and staff also volunteered their services by cleaning up the area around the hotel entrance including the drains recently.

A Blood donation drive will be done on September 18 from 2pm to 4pm. Members of the public are invited to attend and donate blood at the Radisson Hotel.

If you have donated before and have your own blood donation card please be reminded to bring your card.

Peter concluded that by managing the hotel in a responsible manner, they build trust and strong, nurturing, profitable relationships.

He added, “We also achieve great success. Responsible Business is good business!”
