LABUAN: Juta Bonus Sdn Bhd, the operator of new ferry Kimanis 1, has increased the daily trips between here and Menumbok to return trips.
With the increase, Kimanis 1 will leave Menumbok for Labuan at 8am and 1pm, and depart Labuan at 10.30am and 3.30pm, said the company’s spokesperson, David Wong.
He said yesterday the increase is required to gradually meet the Marine Department’s requirement for the company to operate three return trips a day.
The ferry tickets can be purchased at it ferry counters next to Labuan Immigration Department at the ferry terminal and next to Marine Department at Menumbok’s terminal, he said, adding that the ticket price is the same as LFC’s.
For the moment, Wong said, the passengers cannot book the tickets in advance and they have to be bought on the day the trips are made.
He assured that there is always enough space for passengers’ vehicles on their ferry during the normal days.
