SMJA students feted for excellence

SMJA Secondary School recently held an academic prize presentation for its Year Eight and 11 students who excelled in their mock exams, Borneo Bulletin reported.

The objectives of the event, said Principal Cg Dk Hjh Rosnani Pg Hj Abd Rahman is to upgrade the student’s excellence and motivate them to face their upcoming SPE and ‘0’ Level examinations.

Therefore, the school has conducted several academic, counselling and spiritual programmes such as the STAR and Focus programmes, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teen Workshop, Target Assessment, Extra Class, Guidance, Inspiration and Incentive programmes, hajat prayers, recital of Yaasiin and exams prayers.

She also congratulated the students and expressed hope that they will continue to make an efforts to further improve and upgrade their quality of learning for their upcoming exams.

Yesterday’s event saw students presented with prizes as a motivation to keep up their good work.

A motivation talk was also delivered by an officer from the Islamic Religious Knowledge Department of SMJA.
