KOTA KINABALU: Six people, including five foreign women, were arrested by police for suspected prostitution activity last week.

City police chief Assistant Commissioner Jauteh Dikun, said the arrest was made at a hotel in the state capital on September 14 around 11.15pm.

“Five foreign women, aged 19 to 22, and a 23-year-old man, believed to be the pimp, were arrested during the raid,” he said, adding that police had also confiscated several pieces of condoms during the raid.

Jauteh said initial police investigation revealed that the foreign women had entered the country on visit pass about a month ago.

Police also believed the women charged about RM150 per-session, he said.
