SHAH ALAM: The Sessions Court here yesterday sentenced a former restaurant supervisor to one year in prison and one stroke of the cane after he pleaded guilty to Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT) by misappropriating the restaurant’s daily collection of RM4,157.95, last week.
Judge Asmadi Hussain ordered Mohd Fadhil Ding Abdullah, 32, from Taman Tun Dr Ismail Jaya here to serve the sentence from the date of his arrest, Sept 19.
He committed the offence at the Food Tree Restaurant in Temasya Industrial Park here on the same day.
Deputy public prosecutor Iswa Tonie prosecuted and Mohd Fadhil was unrepresented. — Bernama
