WHERE’S THE BALL?: Competitors of the netball competition in action.
KAPIT: Four primary schools in Kapit district qualified for the semi-finals and final of this year’s ‘Excellent Primary Schools’ netball competition hosted by SK Kampung Baru here on Monday.
The four schools were SK Kampung Baru, SK Methodist, SK Ulu Young and SK Sungai Amang .
According to the teacher in-charge of curriculum of SK Kampung Baru, Francis Dana Chuat, the netball competition is for the participation of all boarding schools in the district.
“We have seen keen competitions between the four primary schools; SK Kampung Baru, SK Methodist, SK Ulu Yong and SK Sungai Amang. From the competition, the selection committee will select the best players to represent Kapit at the Inter-Divisions cum Sarawak level ASAT to be held later this October in Sarikei. Other activities also include futsal, badminton, and volleyball,” informed Francis.
