Assistant Minister of Communication and Sports, Datuk Lee Kim Shin who was present at the closing ceremony praised the organisers for their support towards the sport of badminton.

“This is a very good way to further promote badminton here. If we want to raise the standard of this sport, then we have to organise more tournaments like this,” he added.

As such, he called upon more private companies to come forward and work closely with MBA to promote the sport through tournaments.
