Badminton contest for UCSI Pre-U students, staff today

KUCHING: UCSI University Centre for Pre-U Studies (CPU) staff and students are looking forward to their badminton competition today from 9am to 5pm at Sentosa Sports Centre.

The objectives of this competition are to enhance students’ experience and involvement in lively activities at UCSI University and also to encourage an active and healthy study lifestyle by welcoming CPU students to participate and enjoy in sports activities.

In its press statement yesterday, it said CPU also hoped to promote closer rapport among the students and lecturers through this exciting competition.

The competition has three categories – Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

UCSI University, Sarawak Campus houses the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) and Centre for Pre-U Studies (CPU).

This campus provides niche programmes to train all its students in many areas of hospitality and tourism as well as hone their management skills and teamwork.

The centre for Pre-U Studies, providing the GCE A-Levels and foundation programmes serves as pathway to degree programmes in UCSI University campuses in Malaysia and its education partners overseas.

With 10 years of experience in conducting the GCE A-Levels programme, UCSI University Sarawak Campus has consistently remained as the leading GCE A-Levels provider in the state. The enrolment for GCE A-Levels January intake is now in progress.
