KUALA LUMPUR: A Filipina claimed trial in the magistrate’s court here yesterday to cheating another Filipina of RM10,400 last June.
Jocelyn De Lo Cruz Sunga, 36, an agent of Loyal Quest Sdn Bhd allegedly cheated tourist Ailyn Andos Baron, 31, of the sum purportedly to assist her and her child to obtain a permit.
She is accused of committing the offence at Coffee Bean, Bangsar Shopping Center in Brickfields on June 23, 2012.
Magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin did not set bail as the accused did not have a guarantor, and fixed Nov 19 for mention; Deputy Public Prosecutor S Malini Anne prosecuted. — Bernama
