KUCHING: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (DiGi) held a recent ceremony for the opening of its first DiGi Store Express (DSE) in the state of Sarawak. The DSE is the telco service provider’s new retail concept first introduced in Peninsular Malaysia last year.

DiGi Sarawak head of region, Benny Wee, said, “At DiGi, it is our goal to continuously strive to improve the retail experience of our customers, ensuring excellent customer service experience for every walk-in.

“With the opening of this DSE, our customers can enjoy a comprehensive hands-on experience on device demonstration and a wider range of products, accessories and other complementary products.”

Located at the second floor of Boulevard Shopping Mall in Kuching, the new outlet is owned and managed by dealer, Perfect Mobile Sdn Bhd.

The new outlet boasts a renewed look and feel with better trained personnel to provide better retail experience to customers. The DSE was noted to have the capacity to offer all of DiGi’s products and services to the customers, encompassing postpaid bill payments, SIM card replacements, Mobile Number Portability services, phone bundling offers, among others.

“In conjunction with the official opening of the DSE, DiGi will be offering special rebate promotions on its DG Smart Plan package of up to RM15.”

With major improvements made to the DiGi outlets, the service provider hopes to enhance customers’ retail experience, thereby strengthening customers’ brand preference. According to DiGi, consumers can except more DiGi Store branded outlets in the near future.
