SIBU: An Indonesian man was stabbed in his left waist with a screwdriver by his countryman out of jealousy over a woman.
The 35-year-old, identified only as Musa, was confronted by three to five countrymen at his workplace, a factory in Paradom at 1pm on Friday.
A heated argument broke out between Musa and one of the men, leading the latter to whip out a screwdriver.
The armed man stabbed Musa in the waist, causing profuse bleeding.
After the attack, he fled with the others.
Co-workers alerted the factory’s employer who sent Musa to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Hospital at 2pm.
So far, no arrest has been made by the police.
