Police Bust 4D Activity

KUALA BELAIT: Working on a public tip-oft on an illegal 40 activity, 10 Panaga CID officers raided a house in Kuala Belait area on October 13 at 12pm. A 65-year-old Chinese woman was taken to the Police Headquarters for further investigation. She was released on police bail, Borneo Bulletin reported.

If proven guilty, she will be prosecuted under Section 4 (c), Chapter 28 Common Gambling House.

From the house, the CID seized four pieces of betting slips, one mobile phone full of 4D numbers sent by SMS, and one calculator. However, no money was found.

Royal Brunei Police Force thanked the public for information and urged to continue the cooperation in combating gambling activities in Brunei.

The police said it will continue to strengthen law enforcement to combat crime and protect the safety of the public.
