Hera Julai Adi, 24, from Jagoi in Kalimantan pleaded guilty in the Magistrates’ Court here after he was arrested in front of a supermarket at Batu Kawa MJC at about 5pm on Oct 14.

The fact of the case stated that the owner Richmore Tyron found his motorbike missing from where he had parked it at Green Hill Corner at about 6.30am a day before.

When arrested, the accused was found with four short metal rods in his pocket, believed to be tools for committing the theft.

In another Magistrates’ Court, a youth claimed trial to a charge of retaining a motorbike he allegedly stole early this month.

Another man charged with cable theft in September also claimed trial in the same court.
