WELL DONE: Tai presenting a certificate to an excellent student.

SIBU: Students are urged to keep on learning because learning is a life-long process.

In saying this, SMK Methodist Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) chairman Dato James Tai Cheong advised students to never stop learning even after completing their formal studies.

He was speaking as guest-of-honour at the Certificate and Prize Presentation Ceremony of the school held at the school hall yesterday.

Academic learning was only part and parcel of life, he said, adding that there were many other areas of learning in life.

“By learning other disciplines, we will be able to further improve ourselves in many aspects to become a better person,” Tai said.

High academic achievers may not succeed in every area of life, but what was more important, he stressed was not to be disheartened.

SMK Methodist Sibu principal Yong Choo Tiong was also present.
