KUCHING: A man was released on bond of good behaviour for two years in the sum of RM5,000 in two sureties after he pleaded guilty to possessing a stolen property – a Perodua Kancil car.
Awang Mohamad Juli, 40, from Sri Aman pleaded guilty at a magistrates’ court here yesterday to committing the offence which comes under Section 411 of the Penal Code.
He was nabbed in his hometown about 3.30pm on Oct 9. The owner of the car lodged a police report pertaining to the missing car, which was parked at his house in Kampung Semariang here. He said he last saw the car in March.
