BN machinery moves into top gear

SANDAKAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has reminded the Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery to move into top gear to face the impending 13th general election.

Musa said everyone involved in the BN machinery including Youth, Women, Puteri Umno and branches, all the way to the grassroots level need to prepare themselves for an all-out battle.

This is imperative to ensure a well-organised campaign and avoid panic, he said when speaking during a Leaders With People programme at Sibuga Hall yesterday.

“We need to be ready for the GE13. We don’t want to face problems unprepared, disorganised or in panic. “We need to be ready when the bell rings and stat Dewan is dissolved. I believe we are ready because we have a strong machinery and a war room to ensure our readiness,” the Sabah Umno chief said.

Musa said every member needs to be prepared to vote when the time comes.

Should problems arise or if there are any inquiries about the election, people are encouraged to consult their voting district chiefs or visit  the district voting centres for help.

“I’m grateful to Allah SWT because I know you are all concerned and dedicated in our struggle, ensuring that every one of our supporters is able to vote. Nobody will be left behind or pushed aside, because every single vote counts.

“Every voter needs to vote. This is your responsibility as branch leaders, voting district chiefs, youths, puteris, Wanita, everyone,” Musa stressed.

Yesterday Musa attended eight programmes in Libaran, including a mass circumcision ceremony at SK Tinosa Jaya, groundbreaking ceremony of Pea Hwa Kindergarden new building project and a visit to Batu Putih Voting Centre.
