SANDAKAN: One hundred and three families residing in Batu Sapi parliamentary constituency each received a water tank from Member of Parliament Datin Linda Tsen Tahu Lin.
Linda officiated at the symbolic handing-over ceremony and attended by representatives of the recipients and Head Liaison Officer of Batu Sapi MP Office Kong Nyuk Thou.
She called on the recipients to make good use of the water tanks given to them by the Barisan Nasional Government.
The BN Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman is a government that cares for the wellbeing of the people,?Linda said.
Linda said the Government was committed to providing basic facilities to the people and constantly striving to take care of their welfare.
“The BN Government has spent millions of ringgit over the years to implement development programmes in the interest of the rakyat, build better facilities for the people and to assist those who require assistance,”she said.
