SEMPORNA: Umno vice president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal says that having organisational discipline in the party will be a very important factor to ensure its political future and strength.
Commenting on Umno president and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s message that there must be organisational discipline and adherence to the party’s chain of command when preparing for the coming
general election, he said it was vital for members to be united and heed the party’s directives.
Shafie, who is also the minister of rural and regional development, said party members should look at the bigger picture and take stock of current political realities to ensure that Umno grew from strength to strength. — Bernama
