KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah FM programme, Ging Bubut, will go on a tour of the whole state to meet listeners on location, said Sabah FM manager Zainuddin Jamlu.
He said the tour would also play a role in channelling information on government policies and programmes to listeners of the radio channel.
“Through Ging Bubut, which was launched in August 2010, we hope to develop a data base on the local community so that it would be easier for us to disseminate government information to the target groups.
“Besides airing entertainment programmes, Ging Bubut also plays a role in educating the community on the development programmes implemented by the government,” he told a press conference on the tour, here today.
Zainuddin said the tour programme, which would feature 12 Sabah FM personalities, would visit Telupid, Beluran, Kinabatangan and Sandakan from today until Dec 7, Tambunan, Keningau, Nabawan and Tenom from Dec 10 to 12, and Lahad Datu, Tawau, Kunak and Semporna from Dec 26 to 30. –Bernama
