KUALA LUMPUR: A special photo exhibition on Neil Alden Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon, will be held at the National Planetarium from tomorrow to Jan 7 next year.

The United States Embassy here said in a statement that US Ambassador to Malaysia Datuk Paul W. Jones and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation deputy secretary-general (science) Prof Datin Paduka Dr Khatijah Mohd Yusof will jointly open the exhibition today.

The exhibition, titled ‘A Tribute To Neil Armstrong’, will tell the story of the astronaut from boyhood to his historic ‘small step’ on the moon through a series of touching photographs and scenes from his life, the embassy said.

Entry to the exhibition, organised by the embassy, Malaysia’s National Space Agency (Angkasa) and Mosti, is free, it added.
