CELEBRATIONS BEGIN: Pullman Kuching’s Santa Claus and Santarinas jump in front of the 30-foot Christmas tree.

KUCHING: Pullman Kuching held its Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday to launch its programmes for the season.

It was witnessed by guests and children from Perkata Sarawak and Rumah Kanak-Kanak Kuching.

Since its inception, the hotel has always invited the two welfare organisations to attend the lighting ceremony.

The children also received goodies from Santa Claus and Santarinas.

This wonderful occasion was made even more memorable with traditional Christmas carols and anthems performed by the St Thomas’ Cathedral 6.45am Sunday Service Choir.

In his speech, Pullman Kuching general manager Eric Tan said the hotel had shown positive growth throughout the years while achieving a number of awards.

He said this would not have been possible without the support of its clients and patrons.

Pullman Kuching has put together a series of exciting dining and party packages for Christmas.

Guests at Puzzle, Nu Er Hong, Liquid, Deja Vu and The Peak can take advantage of the festive stayover package for a superior room with late checkout at 3pm priced at RM188.

Those who choose to spend their Christmas holidays at home can select items from Pullman Kuching’s Christmas takeaways, which are available at Cafe Ch@t from Dec 5-31.
