Unimas Women’s Association (Masnita) president Datin Dayang Mariani Abang Zain in her welcoming speech disclosed that the fashion show featured a creative range of dress collection designed and created by FACA students majoring in Textile and Fashion Design.

According to her, the function served as a good avenue for the people to have better insight of the potential fashion designers among the students and their creative works, which were transformed into fabrics.

Many guests attending the function expressed keen interest on getting their hands on the collection featured in the show, which was paraded by 20 models selected among Unimas’ students themselves.

On another note, Mariani announced that guests who purchased tickets to the fashion show were also entitled to attend the coming ‘Titian Gemilang Orkestra RTM-Unimas’ to be held at Arena Gemilang, DeTAR Putra on Dec 12.

She said the black-tie event will be one of the highlights of Unimas’ anniversary celebration with popular local artistes performing that evening. Among them are Dayang Norfaizah, Alyah, Azharina and Asmidar with RTM Orchestra accompanying their performances.
