KUALA LUMPUR: The win by national doubles pair Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong on the second day of the BWF Super Series Finals at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center in China, Thursday, has brought some hope to the national team.
During the second match in Group A of the men’s doubles pair, Koo and Tan beat world’s number one pair Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen of Denmark 21-19, 15-21, 21-18.
Prior to that, national single Liew Daren, mixed doubles Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying and men’s doubles Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong lost to their respective opponents.– BERNAMA
