BINTULU: Shell station retailers from here and Tatau visited the Children’s Paediatric Ward at Bintulu Hospital yesterday. They brought festive cheer to the 38 children warded there and shared the jovial atmosphere of the Christmas season.

The Christmas gifts are the latest Shell Lego models available exclusively at Shell only with the micro pull-back propulsion mechanism.

“Many generous motorists also cheerfully bought and contributed in donating the Shell Lego toy cars to the kids in support of our Shell station retailers’ activity, “ said Tan Yi Shan of Syarikat Tan Guan Mui Sdn Bhd.

She said it was great to get the approval of the hospital’s administration to visit the children.

“Some of them may have to stay warded over Christmas so hopefully cheerful time like today’s secret Santa activity could make some enjoyable moments for them,” she said.

Tan added that it was a meaningful social activity for them as they felt duty bound to bear some thoughts, share some cheerful moments with the children in the spirit of 1Malaysia.

Among the participating Shell stations were Rich Mission Petrol Station, Kintown Petrol Station, Syarikat Usahasamajaya, Sibiyu Petrol Station, BBC Station, Boh Hing Petrol Station and Syarikat Tan Huan Mui Sdn Bhd.

Representatives of the Shell stations spent time with the children, and handed out Christmas gifts and goodies. They then wished everyone a ‘Merry Christmas’.

For Lego fans, the cars are available at all Shell stations and offers of purchases are valid until Feb 22 next year.
