MARANG: A man and a teenage boy were killed after the four-wheel-drive vehicle they were travelling in crashed into two electric poles, a tree and a bus shelter at Km52 of Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan near Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Jambu Bongkok here yesterday.
Jamiluddin Zaiton, 28, and Shahrul Nazim Mohd Azmi, 19, of Johor died on the spot in the 7.50 am accident as they were travelling from Dungun to Kuala Terengganu, said Marang Police chief DSP Ahmad Mazlan Yahya. He said the impact of the crash caused the vehicle to be hurled a distance of 30 metres and to overturn. — Bernama
