BERAKAS: Members of the public gathered together to witness the launch of the Ihtifal Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) yesterday, Perbadanan TAIB’s latest annual initiative which is taking place at The Airport Mall, Berakas, from January 3 to January 6 at 8.30am until 10pm daily at the Atrium of the Airport Mall, Berakas, Borneo Bulletin reported.
The event was launched by the Minister of Communications, who is also the Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB’s Board of Directors, Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Abdullah bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Bakar.
In addition, Ihtifal TAIB also played host to a choreograph of seven official launches for the brand new facilities and newly located divisions of Perbadanan TAIB; The Airport Mall; the TAIB Airport Mall branch, the TAIB Platinum Centre, the TAIB Call Centre, The Airport Mall’s Property Management Office, the TAIB Financing Centre, and the newly located Corporate Office for Perbadanan TAIB.
To compliment further the launch of the new TAIB Financing Centre and TAIB Call Centre, the Ihtifal TAIB became a platform to introduce a number of service pledges to the public.
These service pledges were a commitment to ensure the business conducted with TAIB will be more efficient, more effective and, overall, a more pleasant experience.
As mentioned in his opening speech, Awg Yusof bin Hj Abdul Rahman, the Managing Director of Perbadanan TAIB stated that whilst keeping up with the trends, Perbadanan TAIB aims to keep true to their roots -and keep providing quality and innovative financial needs and services that have always been seen hand-in-hand in their organisation.
“As an effort to enhance the customer service experience, within the next year, Perbadanan TAIB will be working hard to provide our customers with Internet banking facilities and debit card services, just to name a few,” the Managing Director further added.
Furthermore, Perbadanan TAIB ATM cardholders will be able to enjoy exclusive discounts up to 35 per cent at selected shops within The Airport Mall on top of all the exclusive talks and activities, as a sneak preview to the upcoming Airport Mall Loyalty Programme.
Ihtifal TAIB is an event aimed to give back to the community, as the Perbadanan would not be what it is today without them. The four-day roadshow also acts as an avenue for Perbadanan TAIB to reintroduce the number of quality products and services to the public, whilst showing their appreciation to their current clientele. Throughout the year, Ihtifal TAIB will be organised in all four districts.
