MIRI: Team Fatimah Bersatu Sdn Bhd (FBSB) B emerged as overall champion in the recent New Year 2013 Futsal Tournament after beating Team Lucky Strike in the final match at the Miri Indoor Stadium here.
As champion, FBSB B took home RM300 cash, a Coneli voucher worth RM500, a trophy and medals, while the runner-up brought back RM200 cash, a Coneli voucher worth RM400, a trophy and also medals.
Team K9 FC which came in third received RM100, a Coneli voucher worth RM300, a trophy and medals while fourth placed Gold Team Kia brought home medals.
In the women’s category, the champion Team Mixture was awarded RM200, a Coneli voucher worth RM300, a trophy and medals.
Runner-up Arora FC bagged RM100 cash, a Coneli voucher RM200, a trophy and medals while third and fourth positions went to Team Highlanders and Team Rahman FC.
Both teams took home Coneli vouchers worth RM100 each, a trophy and medals.
A total of 32 teams participated in both the men’s and women’s categories.
Prizes were presented by the owner of City Sport shop, Lee Joon Siong.
