KUCHING: Abdullah Saidol, the chief political secretary to Chief Minister described an online report of a conspiracy to topple Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud as “the writing of a political prostitute”.

Joining the bandwagon to strongly condemn the online report, he said the report was a “wild imagination of a low esteem insecure people with evil mind and empty soul”.

The Sarawak Report on Sunday said it received an explosive dossier from sources close to Taib detailing a powerful conspiracy to depose him at the next Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) convention.

The report alleged that the high-level defectors led by Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan would maintain a pretence of unity during the coming general election, expected in March, but had collected enough supporters, including Taib’s own close family members to oust him in May.

Abdullah was mentioned in the report as among the leading plotters.

He said the aim of the online report was merely to disunite PBB members by creating clumsy shallow coffee shop story.

The Semop assemblyman said the only ‘plot’ that he was aware of was the undivided and serious commitment of all parties within the state Barisan Nasional (BN) to work hard and secure a big victory in the coming 13th general election.
