KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) youth wings thank DAP Sabah for highlighting the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) issue affecting Sabah but urged DAP Sabah to stop their nonsense and rhetoric slander on the party.

Its KK Zone Youth chief, John Stephen Dionysius, said even before SAPP pulled out from Barisan Nasional, the party had relentlessly demanded that the government take the influx of illegal immigrants seriously.

SAPP Youth had run a campaign to collect 100,000 signatures from the public and submitted them to the state assembly and parliament by its members of parliament Datuk Eric Majimbun and Datuk Chua Soon Bui.

“What did DAP Sabah do for the people? DAP Sabah is incapable of doing things and is handicapped to solve Sabah issues. It has to rely too much on their Malaya counterparts and they come here only to slam SAPP,” he said.

John added the people of Sabah would be very eager to know how Sabah DAP would resolve the perennial problems after the revelations of RCI since they are trying to champion it.

He reiterated that SAPP in its party manifesto when forming the next government would issue every genuine Sabahan a “Sabah IC” to distinguish them from the non–legitimate citizens and it will be most beneficial to the people of Sabah.
