EXCITED: M-Girls members show off their new album.

MIRI: M-Girls, that used to be popular for their Chinese New Year songs, were here yesterday to promote its first new album after eight years.

The new album ‘Tuan Ju’ was released after Christmas last year not only to the local market but also China and Singapore.

Its members, Angeline, Queenz, Cass and Crystal said they were really excited with the idea of reuniting as a group after eight years.

“M-Girls was formed back in 2001, but later I left the group in 2005 to pursue my studies,” Cass said at the group’s press conference at a leading hotel here yesterday.

Cass added that it was because of the strong support from fans and friends that they finally had the courage to make a comeback last year.

“Our fans have been very supportive since we started years ago. And our reunion becomes more special as we get together again before the New Year,” she added.

The new album features 12 songs, three of which are new ones, three others are medleys while the rest are remix of their old songs which have been edited.

“There are only 1,000 copies and it is a limited edition. Anyone who is interested to get a copy of our album can do so by pre-ordering online at www.starmedia.com.my or come to any of our promo tour to get them,” Cass said.

The group had their meet-the-fan session at Bintang Megamall here yesterday.
