KUCHING: The motorsports scene in Kuching is set to come alive with new exciting events with the formation of Zero8Two Motorsports.
The club was registered with the Sports Commission earlier this month.
According to club president Mohammad Narodden, they will focus on organising drag and circuit racing events which are also associated with the Sarawak Automotive and Racing Sports Association (SARSA).
“Our main objective in forming this club is to set a benchmark in the state motorsports scene while looking at a better organisation of motorsports events,” said Mohammad when met by The Borneo Post recently.
He revealed that upon registration with the club, members are entitled to participate in their club status events such as drag race, time attack, go kart and gymkhana.
“We are seeking those who were motivated in sports to join us as we will give our focus towards both four wheel and two wheel machines,” he added.
Announcement of club events and activities will be made soon when all details are finalized.
