KUCHING: A man slapped a woman driver at the accident scene after the woman mocked him for not being able to speak clearly.
Due to speech impediment, he could not explain himself when he tried to talk to the woman after their cars collided at Petra Jaya here yesterday.
Furious at being laughed at, he landed a slap on the woman’ face which shocked bystanders at the scene.
It was said that he even went to his car and took out a steel bar in further attempt to attack the woman.
Fortunately for the woman, a DBKU worker near the scene managed to apprehend the man and to put the situation under control.
The woman then lodged a police report.
Police are investigating the case.
