Abit continues visit in constituency

KAPIT: Hulu Rajang MP Datuk Billy Abit Joo stopped by at Uma Punan Bah on his way down from Belaga recently to say hello and see how folks there were doing.

Accompanying him were deputy Resident Joseph Ikan, Baleh SPDP chief Andrew Jonah, Cr Felicia Kuweng and Cr Melai Alang.

While at the longhouse, Abit promised the villagers that he would look into and follow up their request to set up communication facilities (telephone and Internet) in the area.

He also announced a government grant of RM20,000 for the JKKK to level the site of a new longhouse, RM7,000 for the Women’s Bureau and another RM7,000 for the Youth Bureau.

He also advised the people to continue supporting the Barisan Nasional in the coming election.
