KANOWIT: The opposition aims to topple the Barisan Nasional (BN) government but lacks a plan to build the future for the people, said Kanowit MP Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang.

He said its struggle is for power, and it would accuse the government of many bad things and refuse to acknowledge the good done.

“The opposition would make sweet promises to win the hearts of the people, but if given the opportunity to lead, I am sure they will not be able to meet the aspirations of the people,” he said at a meet-the-people session at Rumah Tenggai Tambi in Ulu Pedai here on Jan 26.

He said people had prospered and many basic infrastructure such as roads, electricity and water come from the BN administration. The government had allocated huge sums for development, he added.

“Give your undivided support to any BN candidate for Kanowit,” he appealed to voters in Kanowit.
