SIBU: A 19-year-old was yesterday jailed for a month by the magistrates’ court here after he pleaded guilty to stealing a handphone.
Daud Minggu stole a handphone from a house in Ding Lik Kong Road at about 9.30pm on Jan 22.
He was charged under Section 380 of the Penal Code, which provides for a jail term of up to 10 years.
