PUTATAN: Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin yesterday reminded Sabahans, especially voters in Putatan, to not jeopardise their future by choosing the opposition in the upcoming general election (PRU).
While insisting that the people’s future has been secured under the Barisan Nasional (BN) government, he wanted people to choose wisely by giving the mandate to BN, so as to ensure development efforts are continued for the country’s prosperity.
“Do not jeopardise our future. The opposition is only good in making empty promises just to get votes, and I hope the people in Putatan are not fooled by the promises.
“On the other hand, BN government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak fulfills its promises to the rakyat, and many more will be done by the government for people,” he told reporters. — Bernama
