Nicol won the first game 11-3 but the 24-year old Egyptian who was also the second seed, bounced back in the second set to win 11-5.

The third game was a close fight and the Malaysian came out top by winning 11-9 before El Weleily came alive again in the fourth and decider to register 11-5 and 11-9 win scores.

Meanwhile, Nicol in her twitter said she was satisfied with her performance although she lost to the top Egyptian player.
